Our team in India
The Surprise-Me Foundation was established following a journey I (Paul) took through South India in 2014, where I met Antoni and his wife Premalatha. They introduced me to several villages around Madurai, which were some of the poorest areas I had ever encountered. Antoni and his team had been dedicated for years to supporting the people from these regions, sometimes with food, items, clothing, but also by educating people. Together, we decided to establish the Surprise-Me Foundation to contribute in a transparent and easy way, to the children, families, and elderly in the villages.
That same year, I visited an orphanage where I met Pandimeena. We were able to provide financial support, enabling her to reunite and live with her family in Madurai. She’s now happily married and is a mother to a son and she co-leads the Surprise Me Foundation alongside Antoni.
The Surprise-Me Foundation
Our goal is to improve the well-being of people in India, in the regions of Madurai, Dindigul, Coimbatore and the Tanjore and Myiladuthurai regions in the south of India.
